Pros : Loved the choice of actor to play Jimmy , I feel like James Franco did justice for James Dean and he would've been proud. I also enjoyed the reoccuring conflict between Jimmy and his dad, I felt the constant desire for Jimmy to please his father and to be loved by his father. I also did some background research of Franco when he played Jimmy. Franco actually got really into character, like Jimmy did. He actually bleached his hair blonde and had on blue color contacts. On set, he smoked cigarettes (a lot of them) each day on set. If you did not know, James Dean was a smoker. And after filming the movie, Franco quit cold turkey!
Cons : I feel like they maybe could have focused a little more on how Jimmy was affected by the death of his mother at a young age. I feel like the movie was not based on mostly fact, it was based on somewhat fiction. Not everything was false or an educated guess. I think the movie should have been longer, I feel like it was somewhat short.

All in all, I absolutely love this movie! If you are a James Dean or James Franco fan (or both. like me!) this is the movie for you! It is not that lengthy of a movie, so you won't fall asleep! It was a well put together movie and I watch this over and over sometimes! I recommend this movie to anyone who loves biography movies!
